Discover the 90/10 Principle. It will change your life.
What is the 90/10 Principle?
10% of life is made up of what happens to you.
90% of life is decided by how you react.
What does this mean?
We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us.
We cannot stop the car from breaking down.
The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off.
A driver may cut us off in traffic.
We have no control over this 10%.
The other 90% is different.
You determine the other 90%.
How? By your reaction.
You cannot control a red light, but you can control your reaction.
Don’t let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.
Let’s use an example.
You are eating breakfast with your family.
Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt.
You have no control over what just what happened.
What happens next will be determined by how you react.
You curse.
You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over.
She breaks down in tears. [Read more →]
The cost effectiveness of PPC Campaigns can be brought in by pursuing the following steps.
1) Create separate ad group for each product.
2) Target right keywords that have more conversion power.
We can keep the bid high for the keywords that can end up in sales. The initial bid amount can be 15 cents to 20 cents. Once we gain good quality score by increasing the CTR for keywords, improving the relevancy of the adcopies and by setting the right landing pages, the bid for the keywords will be minimal. The position of adcopies in the SERP (Search engine result pages) are calculated by the following formulae. Max CPC * Quality Score = our position in SERPS.
Here Google will take only the minimum bid required to activate the keywords [Read more →]
This article goes into some of the legitimate strategies for dealing with link exchange programs, getting people to add a link to your site on their page, and increasing your Google Page Rank, by gaining links from other sites.
A better Google Page Rank (PR) will improve your search engine ranking, and thus deliver increased traffic to your site.If you don’t have the Google Toolbar installed, you should definitely install it now.
Method 1 - Link Backtracking
Instead of looking around for nice sites, and then asking if they’re interested in a link exchange with you, just scout around and look at where other people are getting links from.Â
* Visit a site that’s similar in topic to your site. (I do this with many Photoshop sites.)Â
* Go to Google.com and type “link:www.nameofyoursite.com”, or, on the Google Toolbar, click the i symbol, and select “Backward Links.” (This will list all the pages that have links pointing to the current page.)Â
* Click on every link, opening each one in a new window. Close all the pages with Page Rank less than 5. (They’re not worth bothering with.)Voila, you’ve just bypassed a whole lot of work. This process takes you straight to the Links page of a number of reasonable sites. …and because they link to other sites, they’ll probably link to you too!I have come across a number of juicy pages this way.
Method 2 - The Mass Production Line
Once you’ve done lots of backtracking, [Read more →]
The 4 days event finished with a huge bang! It was a awesome life changing experience indeed, looking forward to the next one! Stephen Pierce, You are mesmerising!
I had a old friend calling me last night, she sounded very disturbed and her voice was shaking. She related to me how stressful she was at work, her boss had never failed to critised for every thing she did; her family had been complaining about the little money she’s bringing. You see, she’s the only working adult in her family; her father had left her mum since she was very young. As the eldest in the family, she need to fulfilled the role of the breadwinner, she got 2 siblings whom she need to financially support their education. I cant really imagine the amount of stress and responsibility she had shouldered upon her back.
The only thing i can help is to at least listen to her pouring and to check on her stress level. I have shared with her with some simple solution yesterday and i was thinking why not i just posted up in my blog to benefit more people.
Here goes, 30 simple hints of handling STRESS
1. Use self hypnosis daily to take some time for yourself. 10 - 15 minutes is ideal
2. Develop a positive mental attitude - see problems as challenges
3. Talk things over with someone - This can really help
You want to get started in affiliate marketing but you do not have a website. There is no need to worry. There are a couple of ways to do affiliate marketing where no website is needed. Sites like Clickbank offer thousands of products that you can promote without a website.Sign up for Clickbank and receive your affiliate id. Then go to the marketplace and find a product which you think you can promote successfully. Click the generate hop-link button and fill in your affiliate id. The link that you receive will be the one you are going to promote. The quickest way to start receiving targeted traffic to your link is to advertise it on a few pay per click search engines. Try Google and Overture first since they are the most popular. I personally have had more success on Overture than Google. Once you sign up your account you can create your ads and select your keywords. Use the keyword selector tools to help you choose relevant keywords with a low cost per click. You will want to get your ad placed between position 3 and 5. The first two positions are usually too expensive and not worth it. Be sure to set a budget for your campaigns. I have heard too many horror stories of beginners leaving their campaigns on and logging in to find that there has been thousands of dollars wasted! The last thing to remember is that if you have not made a sale by around 300 clicks the product’s sales page is not converting well. I usually go for at least 300 clicks or to my profit margin. The profit margin will be however much you get paid per sale. If that number is $20 then you will not want to exceed $20 in clicks without making a sale.
I caught a very nice show last night, “The Pursuit of HAPPYNESS” starring Will Smith based on a True Story of “CHRISTOPHER GARDENER”, a family man struggling to make ends meet.
I was rather emotionally triggered having to understand how the man was being faced with so many un-avoidable pit falls and how he had never gave up. He just kept pushing and pushing himself; he will just get right up after he had fell. I really admire his drive, his attitude and his persistence.
Below is the part of the show where i like most, ENJOY!
Johnny Wimbrey was in town again for the 3rd time last weekend (16th & 17th March). The event hall was once again packed to the max with 218 people attended in the 1st night and 196 people attending the latter.
His delivering was motivational and had never failed to mesmerise me each and every time. I must admit he had always been able to knock some sense into me every time he speaks. Things were laid down and simplified with his detailed explaination; sometimes we often complicated ourselves too much and forgotten about the very basic rules and the ground fundementals.
The ART of being successful and gaining FINANCIAL FREEDOM is not rocket science. We are often got distracted and being swayed out of our initial focus route path; often people cant do something themselves and they want to tell you, YOU can’t do it. You have a DREAM, you got to protect it. If you want something, GO GET IT!!!!!
Johnny will be back again in May 2007, Singapore. He will be coaching us
